When it comes to Pride, every brand and their mother now pulls out the rainbow flag for June to show off their allyship. But Pride for Grinr isn't just about June—it's a year-round thing, which is why Grindr has to do outdo both itself—and these other brands—every June with someghing just a little bit XTRA.
GRIND PRIDE OVER THE YEARS: A SNAPSHOT
2020: Welll...we were all f*cked, so we took the opportunity to use the Grindr platform to livestream queer artists and help put money in their pockets at a time when their incomes from nibhtlife and their art practices had dried up. 30 days, 30 livestreams—we called it Pride Perseveres, and, well...we made it.
2021: Pride: The Comeback. The bars were back open. The girls were back OUT. So we hosted 10 parties in cities across the country to celebrate. Free drinks, free swag, and maybe even a free ride home from that cutie you met.
2022: Tktktk (WIP)
Among all the festivities and activations, Grindr also won it's first Webby for the heartwarming Come Home With Us video celebrating the many stripes of Pride, linked below.
